Crystal Palace 9-13 Mar 16

Crystal Palace again, with the usual round of visiting mothers and rugby. This time, however, we managed to get a great day out on HMS Belfast with Martin and discovered another great pub in Crystal Palace, Wistow House (on the corner of Crystal Palace Parade and Anerley Hill). This pub looks a bit ropey from the outside, but is massive inside, has a fantastic atmosphere, good beer and great food. Even better we sat there and watched England beat Wales in the 6 Nations (it's always great to beat the Welsh).

It's a shame that Southern Railway almost managed to ruin a great weekend. It took forever to get back from Twickenham to Crystal Palace on the trains because the imbeciles who purport to run a railway couldn't run a pigging bath - grrrrr!

Is that Martin or Uncle Albert?
