New Van 18 Jun 20

Lockdown. No Travel. Stay at home. Poor old van stuck in storage going nowhere and we couldn't even get to check up on him, but things finally started to ease a little bit in mid June and we managed to get a booking in for an annual service, habitation check and MOT. However, things didn't quite pan out that way. The service would cost quite a lot, plus there is an ongoing issue with the floor that would require a significant contribution in both time and money towards repair, so we had a quick look at what was on offer and.......the deal was done. Bye Bye Boris and hello Lotti, a Burstner Harmony TD 727G. We've had some great adventures in Boris, and we will undoubtedly miss some of the advantages of an A Class motorhome, but it is time to move on. It was very weird viewing motorhomes all PPE'd up though!

Bloody virus! Tempted by the layout of a 727

Boris at home for the last time

Cleaning months of lockdown filth ready to go to a new home

Nice warm lounge - going to miss that

Will not miss the swinging bathroom door though

We are too old to go climbing up into drop-down beds now

New van all ready and waiting for us

and Lotti is home
