It's time for the annual habitation check and MOT (plus vehicle service) again so it was off to Camper UK to spend an absolute bloody fortune getting these things done. We'd worked out that it made for a very tiring day doing an early start, wandering around Lincoln for a day and then a late exit and return so we decided to stop over the night before outside Camper UK.
It was a fairly uneventful journey up on the Tuesday afternoon in a very empty van, stopping in Boundary Mills for her to do a bit of shopping, then parking up, walking to Go Outdoors to restock on toilet fluid and then on to the Poacher's Pocket for dinner, returning to the van for a noisy night outside the showroom.
On Wednesday it was check in the van, off into Lincoln, breakfast, a long walk to the very interesting International Bomber Command Centre, tea and cake and a wander back up and over Steep Hill to hang around Camper UK for hours whilst waiting for then to collect the van from the MOT and pay the hideous bill. Bread and water for us for a while methinks.
As usual there was a delay on the A1 at Grantham as some numpty HGV driver had decided to turn his truck over, but eventually, knackered, we arrived safely home.
