Lincoln and Shropshire 29 May - 4 Jun 22

A hectic few days. Firstly, up to Camper UK in Lincoln for the annual habitation check and vehicle service, then on to Shropshire for a family funeral.

We decided that rather than do the Camper UK trip in 1 day we would travel up the day before with the minimum on board (the van has to be empty for the hab check), so on Sunday 29 May we headed North, stopping for a  rather expensive lunch in Boundary Mills in Grantham. We arrived at the lovely Diamond House CL site, about 5 miles outside of Lincoln. We settled down for a relaxing afternoon, a quick wander and a chat to a fellow Lyseo 727 owner and a good night's sleep in very quiet surroundings.

On Monday it was up early and to Camper UK, dumping the van and then spending a day wandering around Lincoln. Later, we collected the van, gave Camper UK lots of dosh and then sprinted home to repack for the following day.

Tuesday was an early start to get to the Wyre Forest Crematorium, near Kidderminster, for midday. We arrived in good time and had a cup of tea and some lunch in the car park before attending the service, then it was off to Knowbury in Shropshire to park up at my Sister's house for a few days.

That's a first - parked up at a crematorium
