Lockdown. No Travel. Stay at home. Poor old van stuck in storage going nowhere and we couldn't even get to check up on him, but things finally started to ease a little bit in mid June and we managed to get a booking in for an annual service, habitation check and MOT. However, things didn't quite pan out that way. The service would cost quite a lot, plus there is an ongoing issue with the floor that would require a significant contribution in both time and money towards repair, so we had a quick look at what was on offer and.......the deal was done. Bye Bye Boris and hello Lotti, a Burstner Harmony TD 727G. We've had some great adventures in Boris, and we will undoubtedly miss some of the advantages of an A Class motorhome, but it is time to move on. It was very weird viewing motorhomes all PPE'd up though!
Bloody virus! Tempted by the layout of a 727 |
