Leaving the Moselle we set off towards Trier. Funny place Trier. The Stellplatz is massive and quite a walk into the city centre. Around the corner are some, ahem, "gentlemen's" clubs, leading us to think that perhaps the area is not so good. We did, however, park up and bimbled around the city, particularly enjoying the cathedral and the wine stall in the market place, and really detesting the rip-off crap tourist train that trundles around and shows you nothing at all.

In the evening we enjoyed a fantastic meal in the Rathaus Celler. Absolutely delicious!
